The Zimbabwe Medical Association (ZIMA) is hosting a Digital Health Symposium on the 19th of March under the theme “Realising the digital future of healthcare in Zimbabwe”. With the previous symposium having been held in 2019, this year’s event will reflect on the local and international developments in digital health that have been accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. An exciting set of speakers has been lined up including Prof. Yunkap Knawkam, the Executive Director at the International Society for Telemedicine and eHealth.

As Dr CADx we are proud to partner with ZIMA as the HostSponsor of this year’s Digital Health Symposium. We will deliver a presentation on the growth of AI for medical imaging internationally and its relevance to Zimbabwe and Africa in general. We will discuss the evidence of how our AI solutions like ours can help doctors minimise missed findings in the interpretation of chest X-rays for pneumoconiosis, pneumonia, cancerous lesions, etc, and hence enable better patient outcomes. We will also have an exhibition stand where we will be joined by exhibits from other digital health providers and start-ups who have solutions ranging from telemedicine and electronic health records that you may also be interested in.

We look forward to you joining us and other colleagues this Saturday at Celebration Center in Borrowdale, Harare, or attending via Zoom. You can register via this link https://forms.gle/ZR5oN7gZMuqT2ixR7
