The Zimbabwe Medical Association (ZIMA) is hosting a Digital Health Symposium on the 19th of March under the theme “Realising the digital future of healthcare in Zimbabwe”. With the previous symposium having been held in 2019, this year’s event will reflect on the local and international developments in digital health that have been accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Our co-founder Gift Gana was selected as the 2nd runnerup of the 2018 -2019 edition of the Startupper of the Year challenge run by Total. The challenge’s goal is “to support good ideas and projects that help address a widespread problem affecting communities in your country”. The award is thus a recognition of our vision at Dr CADx to provide tools to help with pervasive highly accurate interpretation of medical images.
